Reverend Kyung Kim
PastorRev. Kyung Kim was appointed to Jones Chapel UMC as the pastor in charge in June of 2019.
A native of South Korea, Rev. Kim grew up in the metro Atlanta area, and is a graduate of Asbury University (Wilmore, Kentucky) and Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, California). He came to Jones Chapel UMC after serving at Loganville First UMC as a minister of music and youth, and he has served in ministries for over 20 years at various places, including churches in Kentucky, Indiana, California, Utah, and Georgia.
As a pastor, Rev. Kim enjoys preaching the word, leading worship music, and providing pastoral care. He believes in God’s vision for the church to be the revival and restoration of people through God’s grace, and the mission for the world, and he urges the church to go deeper with the Word of God, to pray earnestly and to serve one another humbly, as God is pouring His Spirit upon Jones Chapel family. In addition to his duty as the pastor of Jones Chapel UMC, he also serves as the Chaplain in the US Army Reserve.
Rev. Kim is married to his wife, Estela, and they have two children, Carissa and Joanne, and enjoys spending time with the family.

Leigh Anne Myers – Music Minister
Music MinisterLeigh Anne grew up in Reed Creek (just outside of Hartwell), GA with her father, Tony Osborne, where she graduated from Hart County High School in 2004. After High School, Leigh Anne attended Emmanuel College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2009; and completed a Master of Science in Professional School Counseling in May of 2012 from Mercer University. She moved to Danielsville, GA in 2008 with her husband, Nathan Myers and has a cat named Flash.
While engaged to Nathan, Leigh Anne applied for a position as music minister at Jones Chapel UMC in the summer of 2007. Upon accepting the position as music minister she began working at Jones Chapel UMC as the Music Minister. Since then, God has led her to also serve in the Jones Chapel Praise Team and co-director of the Jones Chapel UMC Summer Day Camp.
Leigh Anne’s best assets in the church include good people skills, being very organized, always willing to help when needed, and a Christ centered desire to put others needs before her own. Leigh Anne is very passionate about helping the congregation of Jones Chapel UMC experience Christ through music and fun. Leigh Anne volunteers with the Madison County Senior Center, the American Christian Counselor Association at Mercer University, and with many events with Jones Chapel UMC.
Leigh Anne’s passions lie in music, counseling, cooking, nature, family, animals, and Beverly Lewis books. Leigh Anne enjoys being outside, going for walks, playing with Smokey, watching the food channel, spending time with family and friends, and talking on the phone.

Amy Hancock – Children’s Minister
Children's MinisterAmy Hancock serves as the Children’s Minister at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Amy earned an Ed.S. and M.Ed. in English education at the University of Georgia, where she also received a B.S.Ed. in early childhood education. She has 5 years of teaching experience in Georgia public schools. After the birth of her twin daughters, Amy began teaching part-time at the preschool level and served as co-director at Jones Chapel Preschool for 5 years. She resides in Colbert with her husband, Jeff, and their three children. Amy has been a member of Jones Chapel Church her entire life. She feels very blessed to be a part of the staff and looks forward to the exciting things God has in store for the Children’s Ministry of Jones Chapel UMC.
